OLDES Project OLDES is a new EU funded research project which is developing a very low cost and easy to use entertainment and health care platform designed to ease the lives of older people in their homes in Bologna and Praque. user entertainment services provided through easy- to-access thematic channels and special interest forums supported by animators health care facilities will be based on established Internet and tele-care communication standards. The system will include wireless ambient and medical sensors linked via a contact centre to social services and health care providers. INK provides the local PC in the home. INK was included as no EU company can offer such a scalable solution.
