Math in Europe Unique opportunity to live in Europe for 3 months: - One month in Rome, Italy. - Two months in Montpellier, France. Take three University of Waterloo Mathematics courses: - Taught by University of Waterloo Mathematics Professors. - Identical courses with a grade associated with them. - Similar pace and structure as in Waterloo. The Scope of the Faculty of Mathematics Over 7,000 undergraduate students with a large international student population Four strong departments and one strong school Approximately 240 full-time professors, plus academic support staff Four different undergraduate degrees, numerous programs, options, and specializations Strong graduate programs and active researchers Common first year to permit transfer between programs Most programs require 40 term courses with at least 10 that are not Math or Computer Science

What Marks are Required? From Mid to High 80’s Co-op cut-off is higher than Regular High 80’s for more competitive programs: Double Degree programs, Accounting, Computing and Financial Management, Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Computer Science ALSO The Admission Information Form (AIF) is required and taken into account!

Admission Information Form (AIF) Academic history Extracurricular activities - At school - In the community - Self-study or relevant work experience - Math, computing and other contests Teacher Reference Get your forms online The AIF is required for ALL programs

Admissions Decisions are based on the Admission Average and the AIF Score Admission Average - add marks for the required courses (2 Math, Eng) plus highest U course plus highest two other U/M courses and divide by 6 Although the AIF is important, grades form the most important part of any admission decision For more information on admissions visit: Euclid Contest score may make a difference for certain high demand programs
