Domestic Violence in Georgia Domestic violence stands for violation of constitutional rights and freedoms of one family member by the other, in conjunction with physical, psychological or sexual violence, coercion or threat to undertake such actions. Domestic Violence in Georgia Data Collected by MIA:  Number of a Restrictive Order that is primary source of data;  Name of victim;  Name of perpetrator;  Address, birth dates of both perpetrator and victim;  Form’s of violence;  Description of situation;  What decision was taken;  Address of shelter for a victim or of a rehabilitation center for a perpetrator;  Signature of responsible police officer. Statistical questionnaire “on registration on Domestic Violence Cases” adopted in 2007 by the MIA.
