Background: HGC: Project Presentation The idea of targeted coaching for potentially fast growing companies was first piloted in Great Britain by The East Midlands Development Agency (emda) in Since then, two further programmes have been delivered, each demonstrating the high level of impact that can be achieved with this type of intervention. As part of the second programme emda contracted with Exponential Training & Assessment to provide a development programme for actual and potential High Growth Coaches, in order to build capacity and capability in the region. The programme was called the Growth Enabler Programme (GEP). As a result of the GEP, over 100 coaches took part in the programme, completing a set of e-learning modules called the High Growth Series.

A requirement of the programme was the development of a legacy. To-date, an additional 150+ UK coaches have completed further High Growth Coach development with Exponential. The second part of the legacy will result in the delivery of High Growth Coach development programmes in South Africa by This project represents the third part of the GEP legacy.
