 Breaking Down Standards  Formative and Summative Assessments  Plan/identify rigorous and congruent learning experiences for instruction  Select evidence-based strategies and resources  Support other educators in their districts as they do these same processes

 Stakeholders will review and provide feedback through Dec  Still Core Content 4.1 assessed in 5 th and 8 th grade.  Full implementation is now scheduled for  Social Studies for Elementary and Middle School will NOT be assessed.  U.S. History E.O.C will continue to be administered in and  New Social Studies assessments for appropriate grade levels will occur during the school year.

 Standards are what every grade level k-12 are responsible for in Social Studies content.  The context of the anchor changes based on grade level.  Each grade level has 4 Social Studies Domains:  Civic Mindedness, Economic Decision Making, Geographical Reasoning, and Historical Thinking
