Five Steps of the Writing Process Brainstorming Sloppy Copy Revising Editing Publishing

Brainstorming Brainstorming : Write down any ideas that you have about the topic.

Sloppy Copy Sloppy Copy: Write down your ideas in a story . Do not worry about mistakes. Just write and have fun!

Revising Revising: This is where you check to see if all of your ideas go together. Decide whether you need to add more details. Beginning, middle, and end.

Editing Editing: This is where you will be checking for these things: Punctuation Capitalization Paragraphs Word Wall words spelled correctly

Publishing Publishing: This is where you will be publishing your final copy. Everything should be correct at this step.

Let’s Begin Writing!
