JFK wins the Election  Very close election  Kennedy Era nicknamed the Age of Camelot  New Frontier was the nickname given to his domestic policy

 Buses were desegregated b/c they dealt with interstate trade  James Meredith- 1 st black to enroll in the U. of Mississippi  He faced a lot of harassment but it was a major step

JFK & Vietnam  He organized a coalition govt. to resolve peace in Indochina  JFK sent in “military advisors” to assure that peace would be accomplished
