Access 2004 TriUniversity Libraries TUG (TriUniversity Libraries) University of Guelph University of Waterloo Wilfrid Laurier University The three university libraries have a combined annual budget of $28 million, $12 million of which goes to the purchase of information resources and services. The three library systems (2000/2001) have an extensive range of resources including: 15 TUG affiliated libraries on three campuses 85 librarians/professional staff 300 total library staff 4.3 million books 25,000 currently received journal titles Together, the three libraries serve 45,000 students and 1,700 faculty members.

Access 2004 TriUniversity Libraries – Initial Goals building or acquiring a joint storage facility easily accessible from all three libraries exploring the feasibility of purchasing a single integrated library system facilitating the sharing of data resources facilitating the sharing of paper-based information resources rationalizing collection development network information resources
