PRIMARY CENTRE PRIORITIES

Partnership Priorities  Reduce paperwork  Review format of form for  lesson planning  Lesson observation  Assessment / grading  Placement capacity

1.Improve outcomes for trainees so that more attain at an outstanding level. Include a range of evidence that demonstrates trainees’ teaching over time and the impact on pupils’ learning and behaviour. 2.Raise standards of school-based mentoring across the partnership to a consistently high quality. 3.Ensure that all staff who work with, support and assess trainees are aware of the partnership’s priorities for improvement and their role in meeting them.

4.Develop other sources of incomes e.g. CPD, advisory work, school improvement, international work, e-P.G.C.E., introduction of Outdoor B.A. degree with Education. 5.Further build on our existing partnership with schools, securing a range of high quality placements across trainees’ chosen age-phase and creating opportunities to work in different and innovative ways.

6.To drive recruitment for 2015 maintaining high calibre of trainees and increasing overall student numbers. 7.Expand our capacity with School Direct. 8.Continue to increase communication with our Newly Qualified teachers providing support as appropriate. 9.Continue to oversee focus on National priority areas for ITE and other areas highlighted in end of course evaluations, external examiners’ reports and NQT survey.
