How does the funding work? Receive your grant in three instalments: £5k at the beginning of your 1 st undergraduate year £5k at the beginning of your 2 nd undergraduate year £5k at the beginning of your 3 rd undergraduate year After this you will earn as you learn, getting paid on the unqualified teacher scale during your ITT year. In return you will be asked to commit to: Take part fully in the Future Teaching Scholars programme Teach for two years in a state-funded secondary school (after your ITT) Be an ambassador for the Future Teaching Scholars programme Follow a code of conduct Sign a funding agreement
