Presentation transcript:

Hurry! Your ship is sinking and there will only be time to save one thing from each of the 20 pairs that you will see. That's the bad news.

The good news is that there is an island nearby. (But nobody lives on the island and you’ll probably be stuck there all alone for a long time.)

Number your paper from Write your two choices down. Decide which thing you would save and circle that choice. Be prepared to explain your reason for the item you choose.

shoes socks #1

calendar clock #2

shovel rake #3

mirror compass #4

cup pan #5

ball yo-yo #6

coat blanket #7

gloves hat #8

toothbrush comb #9

scissors pocket knife #10

soap toothpaste #11

fork spoon #12

screwdriver hammer #13

rope chain #14

envelope stamp #15

dictionary encyclopedia #16

raincoat umbrella #17

fishhook fishing pole #18

matches flashlight #19

crayon pencil #20

Now that you have made your choices you will meet with your partner. You and your partner will go over the choices each of you made.

The two of you will need to agree on which one thing from each pair you will save…easy if you both made the same decision the first time.

Circle your final choice on both papers with a red crayon. You are ready to display your answers using Inspiration.
