2 Introduction  RIS Directive applies to 12+1 countries (RO, BG, HU, SK, PL, CZ, AT, DE, NL, BE, LU, FR and HR (as candidate country))  Objective of activity: Summarize the Status of River Information Services by means of a questionnaire  Questionnaire sent to 13 countries, i.e and Serbia  13 countries responded until –Approx km of Class IV –Approx km of Class Va and higher –Approx vessels

11 On board equipment According to information from expert groups, RIS equipment is estimated on board of vessels:  Inland ECDIS Viewers  Electronic Reporting  98% of the container vessels are reporting electronically  30% of the tanker vessel  5% of the dry cargo.  Inland AIS transponders (see before)  Total approx vessels
