For eight months a year, she makes records and goes on concert tours. In the other four months, she leads a quiet life.

11.2. Prepositions-Revision My name is Trevor Simms and I live in Birmingham. I'm a student in the University of Birmingham. I live in a flat. I get up at 8:00 in the morning and usually go to school by bus. On Wednesday mornings I get up late because I don't go to school. I stay at home and read books and listen to music. At the weekends, I usually stay at home and study. On Saturday mornings I have a big breakfast at 11:00. After breakfast, I like going out with my friends. We sometimes go to a café or the cinema. We always eat out on Saturday evenings. On Sunday mornings, I get up at 10 o'clock and go jogging in the park. After that, I go out with my friends for brunch. 11.3. Daily Life English Dear Penfriend, Hello again! I hope everything is fine there. It's great here! My life runs on a nice routine. Everyday I get up at seven and go jogging. There's a beautiful park here. I see many people jogging there every morning. Then, I have my breakfast. I always have cheese on toast and a cup of tea. I sometimes add milk in my tea. Do Turkish people like tea? School starts at 9:00 so I take the bus at 8:30. At 13:00 I have lunch. Lessons are over at 16:00. Then I'm free. I sometimes go to the library for research. I always have dinner at the school cafeteria around 19:00. Then I take the 19:45 bus back.

11.3. Daily Life English I read and study but I don't stay up late. I like going to sleep early but at weekends, my friends and I go to the cinema or a pub. There are very nice student pubs here. It's fun! I have got good friends. My best friend is Trevor. He is Scottish. He is tall with brown hair and green eyes. He plays football in the school team.
