Presentation transcript:

Manifest for housing in the 21 ste century that the qualities that people look for “in the country” would be present in the city as well that every house would have a big garden that all gardens would be orientated towards the south that there would be resting places, little squares, copses and playgrounds in between the houses that all houses would be big that those houses would be open structures, which can be decorated and finished by the residents themselves that people would be able to shape the identity and aura of their houses that the houses wouls offer protection against the cold northern winds because of their solid outer walls that all houses would be equipped with durable solar panels, heat pumps, greenhouses, rainwater collectors that all the roofs of all the houses would form a landscape of terraces and roof gardens that all houses have nice vieuws to the area and the sea

“This living has to result in a dynamic that counteracts and reverses the selective urban flight, so that the population mix in the cities becomes more balanced.”

Unitary value urban entity = 100% = 1 Ha = m2 Space reserved for living = 40% = 0.4 Ha = m2 Space reserved for circulation = 10% = 0.1 Ha = m2 Space reserved for other urban function = 42% = 0.42 Ha = m2

a)residents per household b)minimal surface area of the house (reference social housing department) c)desired surface area of the house sailer houses : penthouses : area distribution / household

sailer houses : penthouses : 25 houses / Ha = 61 inhabitants / Ha

10 % circulationzone = m 2 8 % recreationzone = 800 m2 Result = mixture of different types of living and scale sailer houses : penthouses : Resulting distributing of surface area

“we would like to create a pleasant and endurable living environment which is attractive for everybody”

Ecological houses – using the natural elements – sun wind water Ecological elements of the outer wall Ecological supplements
