MEDIA 175 Principles of Digital Photography Photographer Phil Tauran Presented by Matt Lassila

Phil Tauran “I work in graphic design but specially in apple system software. I like photography, lounge music and travels.”

New to Sequim from France, Phil Tauran studied graphic design in Bordeaux, working as such for 2 decades, before deciding to move to Sequim to follow his passion, fine art photography.

A magic place

Phil is an artist with a camera as his medium; his canvas has been France and now is the Peninsula.

Exhibited throughout Provence, Tauran’s inspirations include American photographers Dennis Hopper, Walker Evans and Ansel Adams, as well as the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.
