INDONESIA 1.By convincing that conserving the tiger, its habitat and prey will beneficial for the community and its enviroment,i.e. a.Dialogue with Coordinating Board of National Spatial Planning and guide the policy to conserve at least 40% forested area in Sumatra Island and the biodiversity of tropical rain forest. b.Engage the implementation of The Declaration of 10 Governors within Sumatra Island and 4 Ministers regarding the Saving Sumatra Island Ecosystem. c.Dialogue with Nat’l Dev’t Planning Agency and MoFinance on budget allocation for priority species conservation, and on innovative funding sources for TCL management.

B. How can GTSRP be improved? 1.Good practices: a.Proposing Rimba TCL (lay within 3 provinces:Riau, South Sumatra, West Sumatra) b.Integrated patch occupancy survey within Sumatra Island by involving all related NGOs, coordinated by Forum HarimauKita. 2.Key performance indicators: a.Rimba TCL is on 3 province’s spatial planning map; b.SMART Patrolling is implemented c.Ensure available intellegence is used (< killing & trafficking) d.Sustainable livelihood support

1.Defining and sustaining critical tiger habitats and their corridors 2.Securing tiger and its prey by increasing management capacity (i.e: training and implementation of MIST, skill of intellegence, implementing effective law enforcement 3.Resolving human-tiger conflict  happy human happy tiger 4.Developing and implementing standard scientific tools for adaptive management, and monitoring of tiger and prey 5.Exploring and mobilizing domestic funds (i.e. PES, sustainable ecotourism, REDD++) C. What key good practices need to scaled up or actions need to take for Tx2?

D. How should NASP be prepared Tx2?  Draft by Indonesian Team  Discuss with GTI’s technical team for national consultation Proposed programs i.e: Secure and implementation agreements in principle from (a) Sumatra’s provincial Governors concerning TCLs, and (b) from Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry and Public Work for no further forest function change within the TCLs, buffer zones and corridors without full agreement that the changes will not affect the TCLs. No human-tiger conflict Provide sustainable livelihood support
