Unit 3: Socialization What is it? It’s all about PEOPLE

I See People They are everywhere, but how did they get there?

Are the following people good or bad? You Decide!

Good or Bad?

Good or Bad?

Good or Bad?

What makes a person good or bad? Actions? Intentions? Why did each of the people in the previous slides lead such different lives?

Why did these people become the way they were? Did they have a choice?

What Kind of Person are You?

What is Personality? Personality is defined as the patterns of behavior and ways of thinking and feeling that are distinctive for each individual.

Describe your personality?

Brainstorm your personality traits. Create a list that describes your individual personality traits. Then decide whether or not you were born with these traits or if they were learned.

At Home Interview your parents and ask them individually, to describe your personality. Then ask them to decide whether you were born with these traits or if they were learned.

Bring the results of interview, written out in short essay form. The response can be hand written or typed. It should be around a paragraph for each parent or guardian. So 1 paragraph per interview. We will be in the computer lab tomorrow. We will discuss the results of the interviews and our lab work on Thursday.

The Goal for this unit is…. For you to learn more about you!
