Building Strong Partnerships Relies heavily on NOAA, NWS and FEMA for partnership Building relations with community partners that work with vulnerable citizens. i.e., those with no ways and means to evacuate, those with disabilities, the elderly and those with language barriers Establishing a media task force Established a religious taskforce Building a more direct relationship with USGS and other federal agencies

Improving Hazard Mitigation Improving communications capabilities through the newest technologies Understanding the underserved populations needs and concerns and conducting preparedness educations programs. Working in partnership to ensure that local community leaders, the media, local and state officials speak with one unified voice Conveying to the public that MCEMA federal partners also support all pre-event and post-event efforts to save life and property all citizens in Mobile County
