What is rape? Cont.  known as first degree sexual assault in some states  Generally non-consensual intercourse that is committed by physical force and threat of injury

Statutory Rape  Non-forcible intercourse who is younger than the statutory age of consent  Ages vary from state to state  Many states don’t use this term- called rape, unlawful sex penetration, and other titles
