Library Cards Please ensure students have a current Chicago Public Library Card for one of our upcoming field trips, which will be to the Bucktown Library on Milwaukee Avenue or the main library downtown.

Homework and Late Work Policy Homework/Late Work Policy: Students who are absent will have the number of days they were absent to turn in assignments that were due while they were out. If an assignment is not turned in on the day it is due then it will be a zero in impact. Students who have missing assignments will not be able to do any extra credit that is offered. Completing missing work will not change the students grade in impact, it will simply allow them the opportunity to complete extra credit work.

Grading Scale and Extra Credit Grading Scale = A = B = C = D 59 and below = F Extra Credit If students would like to complete the extra credit they must first complete any assignments that are missing, although those assignments will not be graded.

Is There Homework?! Reading 30 minutes EVERY NIGHT. Reading log due EVERY MONDAY for a grade. Math homework EVERY NIGHT. **Agendas or planners are very helpful for keeping track of assignments**

Why Should My Child Read Every Night? Let Us Show You…..

Questions?? Comments? Concerns?
