Nelson Mandela Cultural Precinct12 CONCLUSION Nowhere else in this country has the opportunity for a development of this nature and the unlocking of the potential of Nelson Mandela’s Gift to the Nation. This project will drive the Turnaround Strategy so necessary to address the problems of this area and see meaningful sustainable Economic development. This project is a positive step to develop existing opportunities which need to be unlocked to form the basis of Economic rejuvenation of this part of the country. This area has all the necessary resources but needs a master plan to set this turnaround strategy in motion. “SOMETIMES IT FALLS UPON A GENERATION TO BE GREAT, YOU CAN BE THAT GENERATION” Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela Cultural Precinct13 In Closing – The words of Nelson Mandela….. ….It is time to bring the Legacy Home….. I was privileged to open the Museum five years ago, and continue to take a close personal interest in its work. In our view it is working hard to give substance to its vision of becoming “a living museum… that embraces development and inspires people through education, culture and tourism.” We would encourage and value any assistance which you are in a position to give to the Museum. I thank you. “The sun shall never set on so glorious, a human achievement.” ― Nelson Mandela
