El imperativo familiar  Informal commands are used to tell friends, children, etc. what to do.

El imperativo familiar  The affirmative infomal (tú) commands are formed the same way as the present indicative Usted form:

El imperativo familiar  Ejemplos:  Habla más despacio. – Speak slower.  Come la cena. – Eat the dinner.  Sirve la comida. – Serve the food.

El imperativo familiar  Irregulars:  Decir – di  Hacer – haz  Ir – ve  Poner – pon  Salir – Sal  Ser – sé  Tener – ten  Venir - ven

El imperativo familiar  The negative tú, or informal, command uses the tú form of the verb in the subjunctive.

El imperativo familiar  Ejemplos:  No hables más despacio. – Do not speak slower.  No comas la cena. – Do not eat the dinner.  No sirvas la comida. – Do not serve the food.

El imperativo familiar  As with the formal commands, object pronouns are added to the affirmative command and come before the negative command.
