Welcome to NASCSP’s 2012 Annual Conference

We’re Here to End Poverty “Let’s never lose sight of the fact that we’re here to end poverty. That’s right. Even in the teeth of the worst recession in a generation, we still believe that the problem of poverty can be solved. We believe there are real and viable solutions to create better energy efficiencies for low-income homes.”

"Our American answer to poverty is not to make the poor more secure in their poverty but to reach down and to help them lift themselves out of the ruts of poverty and move with the large majority along the high road of hope and prosperity." - Lyndon B. Johnson

Three Key Priorities for the Future 1.Create flexible, effective, and efficient 21 st century approaches to ending poverty and achieving energy efficiency. 2.Strengthen the entire network with the training and technical assistance resources. 3.Answer the question, “How do we ensure adequate funding for CSBG and WAP?”

In Memoriam Clarice Sabree NASCSP is deeply saddened to announce the passing of long-time New Jersey WAP Director and NASCSP Board Member, Clarice Sabree. Clarice was a strong and committed WAP and low-income advocate who participated in many national WAP committees and received the NASCSP James Gardner Weatherization Award in 2006 for her significant contributions to WAP.
