Procedures Review Entering the class/beginning of class expectations: go to your seat have unit plan on desk ready have pen or pencil ready(this is the time to sharpen your pencil or borrow one) have journal/paper ready follow directions on the board

Procedures Review During class: no restroom passes the first 10 minutes or the last 10 minutes of class (go during passing) absolutely no restroom passes during lecture/powerpoint! during lecture or powerpoint notes DO NOT work on other assignments, read a book, put your head down or otherwise engage in distracting behavior. write your full name, class period and date in the right top corner of your work. Papers with no name will be thrown away.

homework is due when I ask for it, if it is turned in any time after that- it will be considered late. if you think I have been unfair- in a grade, redirecting your behavior, or in any other way- see me after class or after school, do not create a scene in class causing a loss of instructional time. do not ask me what your grade is during class....check the home access center or come after school to discuss your grade. at the end of class, quickly and quietly gather your belongings, check around your desk, push in your chair and wait to be dismissed. Do not start moving toward the door, wait at your desk to be dismissed.

Moodle You need to register for this class on the Moodle: go to click on students tab, then on the Moodle button. Log in then choose all courses in the left menu, scroll down to SCHS, click the World Geography class and enter Bulldogs2012 to enroll.

Journal There will be a journal/warm-up activity everyday!!! I will be taking the journal activity as a daily grade- you will not know when I will call for yours, so always have it with you and completed! Journal 1/3/2012 The United States includes many different regions, and many states could be described as belonging to several different regions. Name as many different regions of the United States as you can. Remember, each region needs to have at least one identifying characteristic, either physical or cultural. Which states are included in each region you name? Which of these regions does Texas belong to?
