Rent Deposit Co-ordinator Since 2006, Crisis has worked with the Scottish Government to increase the effective use of the private rented sector (PRS) as a sustainable housing solution. The Rent Deposit Co-ordinators role includes assisting local authorities and voluntary sector agencies to develop PRS access schemes through direct consultancy, best practice guidance and training and a dedicated website ( which collects guidance, information and research on the PRS from across the homeless sector and includes a database of services across the UK.
