BRANDING Social Media Facebook & Twitter We will have one facebook & twitter Bringing together stories from all chapters will give us a bigger impact & add more volume. Tagging facebook submissions, creating photo and event albums allow viewers to follow specific cities within facebook. By using predetermined hashtags on twitter it allows views to follow specific cities on twitter

BRANDING Social Media Instagram Do we want to use instagram? Would you use this to communicate your activities?

BRANDING Brand Strength Consistency We would like all chapters to use the same logo (with their city name) We would like everyone to follow the guidelines for social media We would love it if everyone entered their events onto their city page on the web site We would like letters to go out in the same format Keeping everything consistent – especially when it is new will help stregnthen the impact of the brand and make our group more recognizable when they are out in the community

PR Opportunities Hockey Hall of Fame Event What : The Hockey Hall of Fame exhibits Where: Burlington Mall, centre court When: Sunday October 4 & Monday October 5 Why : to offer an opportunity to draw the local media to a kick-off event and draw attention to the 10 th Anniversary launch of the Gift of Giving Back. How : THHOF id bringing trophies, an interactive hockey shot to score game, a live art exhibit and live presentations to Burlington Mall to that the public and the media will be aware of the GOGB launch Needs: 1) We need a good crowd turnout – especially on mon Oct 5 at 6pm when we have invited the press (where your jersey) & 2) older team members to run the interactive game.
