Spiritual BODY Building 1 Corinthians 12

1 Corinthians 12:1 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I don’t want you to be uninformed.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

1 Corinthians 12:7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

1 Corinthians 12:8-10 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues. to still another, the interpretation of tongues.

1 Corinthians 12:11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

1 Corinthians 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made of many parts, and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13-14 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body – whether Jew or Gentiles, slave or free – we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Now the body is not made up of one part, but of many.

The Spirit gives it to you, but the purpose is to give it away. You’ve received a blessing, but the purpose is to give the blessing.

you are a gift to the Body of Christ

1 Corinthians 12:24b But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it
