Pearl Harbour Attack … and the Christian Connection.

 Mitsuo Fuchida led the attack on Pearl Harbour in This began war in the Pacific. A Day of Infamy

 No-one suspected a surprise attack.  There was much destruction.  “Tora, Tora, Tora!” Surprise Attack!

 Six times Mitsuo crash landed in the sea. Just before the battle of Midway he fell ill. His ship was bombed during the battle, throwing him into the water and breaking his legs.  Most of his peers were killed in action. Brush with Death

 Things got worse and worse for the Japanese forces until finally the Emperor surrendered. The Tide of War turned …

 After the war, Mitsuo had no career and was bitter. Back to Farming

 Jake had been a Prisoner Of War of the Japanese. He was treated cruelly. His faith helped him overcome his bitterness. Jake DeShazar

 While attending court cases over human rights violations, Mitsuo caught up with Jake's story. He read Jake's pamphlet, 'I was a Prisoner of Japan.' Meeting Jake

 As Mitsuo read the Bible for himself, he was amazed at the love, forgiveness and grace of God. He saw how it changed Jake. Now he felt that transformation in his own life. Knowing the Story

 Instead of regretting the past, Mitsuo set about changing the future by telling people about God's love and forgiveness. Regret or Action?

 Mitsuo passed on what he had learned. Jesus is the answer to all hatred, bitterness and suffering. Jesus is the Answer

 God’s forgiveness is powerful and life-giving. When we feel it deep down it can really change our lives and be infectious too!  Is there someone who would benefit from your forgiveness today? Life from Death
