My Thanksgiving Traditions By: Emmie

Emmie Places We Go We go to my Grandma’s house and see my mothers side of the family. All of the grown up women help cook the last of the food and when we are done the men clean off the dishes. And we go to our Uncle’s house to see my Fathers side of the family. Then we have a small dinner at our own house with my brothers and my sister.

Emmie What We Eat My Grandma on my moms side always make turkey, sweet corn and really yummy rolls and pumpkin pie. My dads side always makes ham, sweet potatoes, lots of other food, and gumbo which I will not eat.

Emmie Our Traditions Our first thanksgiving tradition is before dinner is done the children go outside and blow bubbles. When we are finished we all put our names in a cookie jar and when my Great- Grandma picks two names we break the wish bone as our second tradition.

Emmie My Family During Thanksgiving time I see My Aunt Becky, Deb And Carol, my cousins Xavier, Tiana, Tiara, Sara, Matthew, Lisa, and a lot more. My family seems very huge at holidays like these.

Emmie When We Get Home We are stuffed and so we watch a movie then go to sleep.

Emmie I say that my Thanksgiving Day is a very fun one, but also a very BUSY one!
