5 Describing a process The United States Department of Labor anticipates that fifty percent of all jobs will require a college degree by the year 2025 (USDOL, 2003). Finding the time to attend college is a challenge for many. With this in mind, more and more colleges and universities are offering online degrees. Online degrees are degrees that may be earned via the comfort of your home. No transportation is required. A computer, an internet connection, reasonable knowledge of the internet and a strong will to succeed are the elements for success in this new, virtual world of education. If one is interested in experiencing this type of education there are a few steps to follow.

6 Sample process essay It is important to research the many schools that offer online degrees. One way to research these schools is by a simple internet search on “online degrees”. This will present an array of websites. It is important to avoid sites that are hosted by the colleges or universities as they may offer a biased opinion of their program. Another approach is to network among your peers. Try to find people who have taken courses online. Ask important questions such as, how valuable was the education? Was the education expensive? Did you have attentive professors? Would you recommend this type of learning experience to others?
