Having Enough Capital massive costs for a hotel to get new technology to buy the new facilities and equipment. needed for the investors to contribute funds for the hotel Many hotel failed to prepare a good business plan because they lack of knowledge in the field of green hotels Cash flow management is important for business to plan its future Mistakes that hotelier made and cause poor cash flow management: always overestimate future sales volumes cash flow budget should be using for a hotel to operate

Limited Knowledge And Resources Environmentally friendly hotel that using energy-saving technologies The knowledge gained purely from the internet are not exhaustive Green hotel seen only limited to saving energy source, but it actually involves operations throughout the hotel is also managed by the healthy way, the state and society

Ability To Find Suppliers Green hotel need equipment to design rooms and facility in hotel The equipment needs by the green hotels mostly is from foreign country Cost of equipment from foreign country is higher Hard to find supplier in Malaysia Bring trouble to green hotel while equipment have any problems

Ability To Find Profit Green hotel hard to save money in other ways Green equipment will also increase the hotel’s costs Hotel has earned the profit through their operating and marketing, the hotel still needs to pay the taxations which created by government face the challenge of different sectors especially environmental regulations and policies.

Getting Green Certification Certificate is very expensive Certificate takes a lot of time to settle Better choice is using the money that hotel would spend on certification to improve the quality of the stay with facilities .

Conclusion Green hotel bring a lot of benefit to environment Save energy, save water, save electric and reduce wasted Prospects : Waste management, Environment management practices, Energy efficiency, Water conservation, Implementing green initiatives Challenges Of Green Hotels: Having enough capital to build a green hotel, Limited knowledge or resources from green hotel management, Ability to find suppliers offering the products for green hotels, Ability to find profit for green hotels and Getting green certification .
