 This activity, which uses a program called EATracker, provides an excellent overview of what will be covered in the nutrition unit  Information about EATracker  EATracker lets you track your day's food and activity choices and compares them to the guidelines laid out by Health Canada.  Health Canada provided financial support and expertise to align EATracker with the February 2007 release of Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide

 Go to the following website:   Select “Eat Well, Live Well”  Then, select “EATracker”

 Click “Take the Assessment”  Fill in required information & click “Get Results”  Read the “Eating Advice” & “Activity Advice”  What do they recommend?

 Right hand side of page, body mass index (BMI) is posted  What is your BMI?  Next, select “Sign-up” & enter required information

 You should now be on the EATracker home page...  Using the calendar on the left hand side, click on Sunday, February 28  Now, the “Eating Diary” will appear  Enter the food you ate for each meal, including approximate serving size

 When you have completed your food diary for Sunday, February 28, click “Go to Activity Diary” (located in the lower right hand side of the page)  Enter in the activities you completed on Sunday, February 28  When you have completed the “Activity Diary”, click “Go to Daily Assessment” (located in the lower right hand side of the page)

 Select “View Food Group Feedback”  By scrolling up and down, the following information is provided:  Food Group Feedback  Energy (Calorie) Feedback  Nutrient Feedback
