Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp By: Noah Vasquez, Breanna Vasquez Brenda Valencia

Background The Germans established the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in 1940, this camp was located south of the small towns of Bergen and Belsen. The Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp was not a death camp but many thousands died in the camp. This was the camp Anne Frank died in.

Background Bergen-Belsen was a labor camp. They for the people in the camp were forced to do labor as if they where slaves. People did die in this camp, but it was not meant to be a death camp.

History of Bergen-Belsen Emaciated bodies of dead prisoners at the Bergen-Belsen looked like a horror camp with all the dead bodies everywhere. The prison camp that became known as Bergen-Belsen in 1943 was located about a mile from the tiny village of Belsen and a few more miles from Bergen, a town with a population of 13,000

Reasons Why Our Exhibit Should be in Your Museum The Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp is connected with Anne Frank who is a historical role model who teaches us to never lose hope. It is very sad and many innocent peoples lives were taken from this camp. Our exhibit will be able to compare and connect to other events that have happened.

Quotes When we passed through the gate of Bergen-Belsen, we dropped out of life and time." -- "We had nothing to go by, no point of reference, not even a 'doctor' who selected those of us who were to be murdered straight away and those who were to be murdered somewhat later." -- "Anyone who came to Bergen-Belsen dropped into chaos, into nothingness." The words of three survivors of Bergen-Belsen

It will help them understand don’t give up hope. Why our exhibit will help visitors understand the importance of the bergen-belsen concetration camp It will help them understand don’t give up hope. It is a historical event.
