This has established the Costal Wetland Conservation Grant Program 70% funds go to the state of Louisiana 15% funds go to the Costal Wetland Conservation Grant Program 15% funds go to the North America Wetlands Conservation act Program

Produces partnerships in reducing wetland loss Provided $33-$44 million per year in funding for the Louisiana for restoration projects Provided $7-$8 million a year in funding for the Costal Wetlands Conservation Act for restoration projects
This act is funded through taxes from fishing equipment, import duties, small engine and motor boat fuels
