Our health is determined by: Where we live What we do Who we are ……by our genetics, lifestyle, the health care we receive and our wider economic, physical and social environment. Although estimates vary, the wider environment has the largest impact.

What we know There is significant and growing evidence on access to good quality green spaces: – better self-rated health – lower BMI – overweight and – obesity levels – improved mental health & wellbeing – increased longevity
