Earth is the third planet from the sun and the seventh largest. Earth is the only planet whose English name does not derive from Greek/ Roman mythology. The Earth is 149,000 km from the Sun and 41,000 km from Venus!!!!

The planet we choose is Mars. This is Mars!! Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the seventh largest. The planet got it’s name dew to it colour red. Mars is the god of war!! The name of the month March derives from Mars!!!!

Mars is the only planet that is believed to have water on it.

Mars is a lot like Earth and is one of the middle planets from the Sun.

We think Mars is a good planet to go to because Mars has been explored more than any other planet in the Solar System.

That’s why we chose MARS!!!!!!!!
