About Me Graduated from University of Illinois with BA in Spanish in 2004 and MSLIS in 2006 Spent seven years as reference & instruction librarian and liaison to College of Business & Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Started the full-time MBA program at the Wisconsin School of Business in the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research in August 2013

Words to Describe MBA Students

Insight #1 MBA students are scheduled to the MAX.

Insight #2 MBA students don’t do anything alone.

Insight #3 MBA students are diverse, and that diversity will only continue to expand.

Insight #4 MBA students don’t have to research.

Insight #5 MBA students CARE about research.

Implications?  Reach students outside of the classroom.  Partner with the student services offices, especially those relating to careers.  Look at student organizations as a possible ally in getting students’ attention.
