National Merit Scholarship Corporation Information The Entry Requirements section displays information you provided on your answer sheet. The Percentile compares your performance to that of other college-bound juniors. The Selection Index is the sum of your critical reading, mathematics and writing skills scores. If it has an asterisk, you do not meet all of the eligibility requirements for the competition.

ACCUPLACER Students attending MC must qualify to take college level classes Accuplacer is placement test Offered to DHS seniors in October Qualification is based on an SAT score of 550 in Critical Reading, Math, and Writing (total of 1650 out of 2400) or ACT score of 24 (out of 36)
DHS COURSE REGISTRATION Course level recommendations done by 1 st semester teachers in January Registration materials to students early March Students return completed and signed registration card to counselor Course offering booklet distributed to all DHS students during registration (also on line) More course offerings available to 11 th graders: - AP courses, SAT Prep, Social Studies and Science Electives
