Presentation transcript:

Bienvenidos a la clase de espanol.

You will often be asked to work with a partner in class. With so many students in class and if each student spoke in a normal voice, it would be very loud. When you speak with a partner, sit close enough so that only your partner can hear you. You might have to sit elbow to elbow or you may face each other but you will also need to lean in towards each other. We will practice with the next activity.

When you return to your seat, move your desk closer to your partner’s so that you sit elbow to elbow. Take turns reading the disclosure statement out loud to your partner. Remember to lean in and speak so that only your partner can hear you.

Winner takes out a sheet of their own paper and divides it in half.

Write your class number in the upper right hand corner size ½ inch. You will need to write your first and last name in the right margin on the first line. Under your name, write the date in Spanish. lunes el 27 de agosto. Under the date, write the class and period-espanol pd ?

On the half sheet of paper, answer the questions from the back of the cell phone paper. Write your responses on the paper you divided. You and your partner may write the same answers. Everyone though should have their own paper.

For the next activity, you will be getting out of your seats and talking with other students. The questions will be on the screen. Each time you speak with another student, please introduce your self by saying, “Hola, me llamo …” and give your name.

Be prepared to share the names and what you learned about people with the rest of the class.
