Daily Journal How-To Essay Outlining SSR Pronouns

Start DJs on a new page.  Write 5 sentences explaining the importance of the activity you chose to write about and why your readers should choose to learn it.

 What is a How-To Essay?  Review Steps to Writing a How-To Essay.  Begin thinking of activities to write about mentally. (DONE)  Complete the outline process. Make sure your directions are now in the correct order and are extremely detailed.  It may seem tedious and a “no brainer” to you, but remember, treat your audience as if they have never heard of your activity and have no idea what it is or how to do it. Even the smallest details matter!

 Make sure you are seated and reading when the bell rings and continue to do so for the entire 20 minutes.  Remember this time is worth 10% of your grade!

 Take notes, highlight definition of Pronoun.  Complete Pronoun packet 1.  DUE TODAY! By the end of class.  If you finish early, complete your outline or read silently. Outline is due at start of class tomorrow!
