About Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler was born on 20th April, 1889, in the small Austrian town of Braunau near the German Border. His father was Alois’ Hitler and his mother was Klara Hitler. Out of five children only Adolf and a younger sister, Paula, survived to become adults. Hitler did extremely well at primary school. He was also a very religious child. Adolf was thirteen when his father died. His death did not cause the family problems when it came to money. In 1907 Klara died and it bothered him deeply, he would carry a picture in his hand everywhere and was said he died with it in his hand. Adolf Hitler as a child.
