Problem Scope Objective To demonstrate/determine clearly the need for an edge protocol that allows a user to interact with an agent in the network for AAA. The agent in turn may interact with network AAA protocols, such as, Diameter/RADIUS Applicability Scenarios NAS/WLAN Mobility deals with (creating tokens to speed up handoffs and establish new SA) when MN moves from one access router to another rapidly GPRS Provide a generic framework for the registration process that is independent of the layer-2 specific schemes and so on….
