Introduction Contained Air Solutions are a leading UK based supplier of a wide range of standard and engineered clean air product solutions including:- Class I, II & III Microbiological Safety Cabinets, including specialised stainless steel Class 2 cabinets for cage changing and similar applications Large Class I & II Enclosures for housing of automated processes Horizontal & Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinets Powder Control booths and associated equipment Downflow & surgery tables Formed in April 2007, based in Manchester 25 Employees, 300 years industry experience

Company History was founded in 1982 and became part of Thermo Fisher in May By 2006 the business had grown to £4M per annum, employing 35 staff and was UK market leader in Microbiological Safety Cabinets. decided to cease production of all MAT products to concentrate UK supply on standard range of Class II cabinets only. Final MAT production March formed in April 2007 by the former employees of MAT. In Year 1 trading exceeded £1.9M and grew to £2.5M in Year 2, re-establishing the Company as UK market leader in Microbiological Safety Cabinets Contained Air Solutions Ltd was formed in April 2007 by the management and technical team of Medical Air Technology in order to continue activities in the clean air market following post M&A rationalisation by MAT’s US owners
