cause event effect

I noticed the other day that my cat was not acting like her normal self. She had stopped eating her cat food and wasn’t running around after her toys. I thought she might be sick. My mom suggested I take her to the Doctor’s office. In order to see what was wrong the doctor gave my cat an exam. She said I should give her medicine twice a day. As a result my cat got better.

I got an A+ on my math test! I knew it would be a hard test so I studied the night before. I wasn’t really sure of how to do the problems but I asked a lot of questions in class and I paid attention to my teacher. Since I got an A+ my mom said I can have a phone. As a result I could earn an A in math and get to go to Sun Splash.

Cause & Effect  The cause is why something happens.  The effect is what happens because of an event or situation.
