Fall 2002CS/PSY Interviews Disadvantages  Subjective view  Interviewer(s) can bias the interview  Problem of inter-rater or inter-experimenter reliability (a stats term meaning agreement)  User may not appropriately characterize usage  Time-consuming  Hard to quantify
