Welcome: Bill Healey Former Director Volleyball Pensacola and Waves Board Member.

Making a better showing in the Region Every Year. Impact on High School Volleyball. Exposure to College Coaches at Big Tournaments. Qualify teams to Nationals. Ranked 17 th in the top 75 ranked clubs in Florida. Only ranked Florida club in the Gulf Coast Region.

Role of Parents in Club Support Players by facilitating them getting to and from practices & tournaments ON TIME. Positive Support From Sidelines Food Tournaments

Competition Team Timeline November Tryouts Position training begins after Thanksgiving. Team Practices begin in December. Tournaments: January - April

Practices will be held at UWF Field House, Pensacola State –Pensacola Campus or Pensacola State-Milton Campus, Washington High School Practices - Closed practices (bring portable chairs and parents can sit in lobby). Commitment to practices and tournaments.

Travel – Montgomery, Jacksonville, Orlando, Atlanta, Birmingham, etc. No team hotel rooms- Players will stay in parent rooms. Qualifiers Only– Parents MUST Stay at Tournament-Authorized Hotel

Respecting Coaches Decisions Playing Time & Other Players will NOT be discussed. Coaching from the sidelines will not be allowed. Chaperone: Must attend out of town venues Required to register as a USAV chaperone.

Grassroots Teams 7 – 10 Year Old Boys or Girls Several Regional Scrimmage Dates: Jan - March Several Practice Times Prior to Scrimmages Expected Costs $200 Free USAV Membership for 8 & Under $15 USAV Membership for 9 & 10 Year Olds

For Girls U12 – U18, three levels: Power Club Regional Competition Teams - Levels of Play

Power Tournaments: a USAV Qualifier, multiple overnight events, and one day events. May add additional tournaments with additional costs. 2 coaches 3-4 practices a week with priority scheduling Base Fee: $ Uniform Package # 1 Uniform Costs for New Members Only Levels of Play

Club Tournaments: Regional and Interregional competitions, some overnights – No Qualifier Included in Base Fee – Additional Tournaments may be added for a fee 2 coaches 2-3 practices a week Base Fee: $ Uniform Package # 2 Uniform Costs for New Members Only Levels of Play

Regional Tournaments: 5 Regional Tournaments. No overnights. 1 coach 2 practices a week Base Fee: $800 + Uniform Package # 3 Uniform Costs for New Members Only Levels of Play

Players will be notified via and asked to confirm selection. Teams will be posted on the web. Opportunities for development will be available for players not selected to a team. Team Selection

Club Fees 1/2 club fees due first week of December. Balance of Fee due in full by January 15, 2016 or 1 week prior to first tournament. All Fees Paid Online via and will have a 2.7% processing fee added

Boys Teams 12 & Under (5 th /6 th Grade) & 14 & Under (7 th /8 th Grade) Multiple Regional Tournaments January – April 1 Coach 1-2 Practices Per Week Expected Fees $400 - $500 Range Several Free Clinics to Precede Tryouts Free USAV Membership (Costs Refunded by Region)

Developmental Clinics 6 th – 8 th Grade Session & 9 th – 12 th Grade Session Six Week Clinic Sessions beginning in March Open to all Waves Team and non-Team Members Boys and Girls Welcome Focus on Proper Fundamentals in Game-like situations Cost: $75
