In Summary: Our Group rode most of the trails at Kolapore in 2004 and found the trails to be in similar condition to any other mountain biking trail we ride in Southern Ontario. We found no trail condition problems and enjoyed an exhilarating, highly technical ride at this site. Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport due to the variable terrain, speeds, weather conditions and the unpredictability of events combined with the rider’s decisions and reactions. This is what draws enthusiasts to the sport. Riders must be accountable for their own decision making, matching trail selection to skill level, looking ahead to assess trail conditions and riding in control and generally being responsible for any “operator errors” that result in a fall.
