Shooting Stars Morning Schedule Car Riders: If you arrive before 7:00 a.m., you will be directed to the cafeteria. Bus Riders: If you arrive before 7:00 a.m., you will held on your bus until 7, then released to breakfast or your homeroom. NOTES: Your 1 st period and homeroom class will be held in the same room. During Orientation: We will walk through a mock schedule. KMS Students wear SMOD to school!

Shooting Stars Late Work Late work not accepted. All assignments are due on the date announced. Parents should contact teachers for “unusual circumstances”. NOTE: Repeated “unusual circumstances” will be referred to the principal for approval.

Shooting Stars Absent Work Assignments for absent students will be placed in the ABSENT folders on the wall. Students are responsible for picking up work with his/her name on it upon returning to school and completing it in a timely fashion. (1 day for each day absent)

Shooting Stars The Five Basic Rules Complete assignments neatly and in a timely fashion. (Turn in on due date). 2.Always make the best effort to learn. 3.Meet performance expectations. 4.Follow school and classroom rules. 5.Have an attitude of participation and cooperation.

Shooting Stars Performance Expectations Enter the room orderly, quietly and have a seat. 2.Write your first and last name and today’s date on all of your papers. 3.Write the Essential Question in your E.Q. log and planner. 4.Write vocabulary in your Vocabulary Journal. 5.Write homework, notes to parents, and school reminders in your agenda. 6.Return assignments and responses from parents in a timely fashion (within 1-3 days).

Shooting Stars Team Notes HOMEWORK: Students should check the team site daily for homework assignments, test reminders, etc. TESTS: Study Guides or Study Packs are provided for each test. This info is also posted on the website when possible. HALL PASS: Students should not be in the hallway without a hall pass or teacher escort.

Shooting Stars Team Notes HALLWAY RULES: Students are expected to walk to the right side of the hallway, in a straight line, and without talking. ELECTRONIC: Students should leave cell phones or other electronic devices in their lockers, turned off, unless instructed to do otherwise (may occasionally be used for differentiation). GUM: Chewing gum is not allowed.

Shooting Stars Incentives Treats are awarded to all eligible students on a regular basis! Eligible students: Follow school, team and classroom rules. Complete assignments. Follow the five basic rules. Meet performance expectations. Do not receive discipline referrals.
