School of Electronics Devi Ahilya University Presentation for Assessment Course Name: Advanced Microprocessors and Interfacing/Advanced Microcontrollers Course Code: MTES13/ MTMCT13 Aim of Course:  Introduce students to computer architecture.  Make them understand concepts of system bus and pipelining  Introduce the students to advanced microprocessors used these days  Applications of ARM  Make them program and interface these microprocessors/ microcontrollers Instructor’s Name: Dr Manju K. Chattopadhyay

Assessment Policy & Result Summary Assessment Policy: Mid Term 1 : 15 % Mid Term 2 : 15% Assignment : 10% Final : 60% Result SummaryNo. of Students M.Tech. (E.S.)M.Tech. (M.C.T.) High Grade (B+ & Above) 0608 Average (B,C, C+)1112 Low (D,D+)0001 Fail0002

Assessment Comments on course contents, design, scope of course, adequacy etc.,  It is a well designed course.  At present no change is required in theory.  Need to work more on lab assignments

Assessment Problems faced in Teaching-Learning 1. Practical demonstration of the applications that can be build using ARM processors could not be done.

My Suggestions for Course Changes & Improvement in Teaching-Learning Process 1. No. of kits should be increased in labs for hands on experience for the students (The department is already in the process of doing this). 2. Students should attend workshops that are held for application building using ARM microcontrollers

Thank You……….!
