How does it work?  Create an apple id. Which is the same one you use for the app store or itunes.  Sign in on any of your devices and turn on iCloud.  Automatically sync all of your things to all of your devices.

College Uses  No need for storage devices.  You can have all your work automatically stored for you and synced to all of your devices  You can always work on your projects no matter where you are  Have all of your documents, music, and pictures in one place.

Buisness Uses  Can set up an account for the company where all the employees can access documents.  Can share documents wireless and automatically  Everyone can always be on the same page

Downsides  Need to have an apple id for your things to be synced, so most likely you have to have an apple product.  Limited storage  Need internet conection

Improvements  Could increase the storage  Should ask what you want to be synced instead of syncing everything.
